Teaching Comics- Polar Bears

Here's another Teaching Comics strip. Kids do know things and are willing to tell you that they know them, just as long as it proves whatever you said is wrong.

I'm thinking I may go back and put some gray ink tone on the background of this one- looks a bit bare with just the black and white. Also it's coming straight from my scanner, so I'll need to clean it up a bit as well.

Also, I'm down to only the last few copies of my first book 'Teaching Comics: Volume One'. If you want to order a copy- or get a copy for your teacher friend who just started school this week and is already counting down the days till winter break, you can order a copy here.

Frank's Repairs

I have started working on a new project called 'Frank's Repairs'. It's another small-town story in the vein of 'Lawns', but perhaps a bit darker. The story centers around three characters, a twelve-year old boy, Steve, his father, "Mack", and their friend, Joe. They all work at a repair store/ junk museum, and will have their own storylines in the book. I'm not sure how long the book will be or how I'll divide the narratives, but I figured sharing some of the work on here might give me a place to dump some ideas. Anyway, here's an excerpt from what I'm thinking will be the prologue and opening chapter.
